Launch of New Movement Programme for Schools

At the personal request of Yateley Manor School in Hampshire, Shelley developed  a screening tool for schools to help identify those children 'at risk' of neuromotor delays, with a 6 week movement programme aimed at helping those children whose difficulties do not warrant a referral to occupational therapy. The programme was launched in the school in Janaury 2014, and a research stusy has been carried out to measure progress.

Statistical analysis has proven that the 6 week programme significantly improved performance in three main areas:  (1) Stability, Posture and Spatial Awareness, (2) Balance and Equilibrium and (3) Fine Motor Skills and Handwriting.
