At 6 months old Sebastian had a life changing accident, this unfortunate event caused him to acquire a head injury resulting in a left hemiplegia with associated hemianopia (visual difficulties). 

Four years ago, Sebastian and his family came to Hemispheres seeking help. At this time Sebastian was 12 years old and it was obvious there was work to be done. But over the four-year period, with the help of Hemispheres Movement for Learning and Sebastian’s incredible determination and admirable drive, he has made amazing progress. Sebastian has earned a place in the national para-rowing team at 16 years of age. 

Sebastian has recently won two awards and is now capable of rowing a single boat by him self. This is an amazing example of what people can achieve with the help of Hemispheres and their undevout dedication.
